Steps to an Emotional Detox
by Ades - June 12th, 2008

An emotional detox; everyone needs it, but so few of us actually take the time to do it.
Believe it or not, an unclean mind can cause plenty of damage to the body and the soul and should never be taken lightly. A confused and angry mind can cause the body to suffer nervous disorders as well as an unstable immune system. It can even cause cardiovascular impairment and digestion.
So how do you start?
1. Take A Look Inside
Remember that when you are busy looking at the faults of others, you’ve forgotten your own. Refrain from being judgmental and recognize that we often cannot control the situations and dramas in our lives, so try to let things be. Stop reacting and accept responsibility for your own emotions. Take the bad times and turn them into a turning point in your life that will provide the lessons you need to develop and evolve in a better human being.
